Terry Allan
As Chief Executive Officer of Global E&C, Terry leads the company’s engineering, procurement and construction efforts in the hydrocarbon and broader energy space. With extensive leadership experience in strategy, M&A, business development and commercial activities, Terry brings an energy of forward-thinking and strategic foresight to the company.
Terry’s background and experience working across multiple geographies, coupled with his ability to build highly efficient teams has seen him deliver successful results in senior roles across a range of businesses in the energy industry.
Terry is responsible for driving the overall direction of travel, culture and financial performance of the Global E&C portfolio. His ability to ignite positive change and lead strong teams has seen Terry spearhead Global E&C’s evolution (which has included service line acquisitions, large scale organic investments, organisational reshaping and focused cultural change programmes) and has successfully positioned the business as a leading EPC provider to the UK North Sea energy markets.

Derek Mitchell
Derek is Global E&C's Vice President of Brownfield Services and has vast experience of working in the brownfield OPEX market in both project delivery and operator efficiency-related roles. With a passion for operational excellence, Derek is a bold, energetic leader with expertise in building and managing successful teams and businesses.
He joined Global E&C as Managing Director in 2019 following several years in operations, engineering and project manager roles with our parent company, Global Energy Group. Prior to this, he worked for operators and Tier 1 service companies including Apache, BG Group and Wood.
Complimentary to his role in Global E&C, Derek is also co-Chair at Step Change in Safety - an organisation that strives to continuously improve safety and making sure those working in the front line have the highest standards of safety
His background and leadership style are ideally suited to Global E&C and our unique EPC offering in the UK North Sea market.

Derek Thomson
As Vice President of Technical Services, Derek has overall accountability for a portfolio of contracts where Global E&C is delivering fully integrated services to support the end-to-end lifecycle of EPC scopes, working with more than 400 employees across the business to execute projects safely, responsibly and efficiently in the UK North Sea.
Derek has more than 25 years’ experience in the oil and gas sector, including senior roles in operations, engineering and project management for major operators and Tier 1 service companies including Amec Foster Wheeler, Fairfield Energy, Dana Petroleum and Worley.
Derek is also co-chair of Safe Working Essentials, a workgroup set up by member-led organisation Step Change in Safety, which is focused on making the UK the safest oil and gas province in the world in which to work.

Louise Mackenzie-Cooke
Louise is accountable for all HR activity across Global E&C. Having joined the business in 2019, Louise has over 20 years’ experience and brings a range of multi-industry experience in both the public and private sectors. Skilled in providing strategic HR support, Louise works with leadership teams to ensure the HR strategy is aligned with and supports the successful delivery of business objectives. With a keen interest in promoting positive mental health, wellbeing and diversity strategies, Louise is an instrumental part of our workforce engagement activities.
With over 900 people across our business working on more than 30 customer assets in onshore and offshore locations, her role in driving the resourcing, talent acquisition, capability and development strategies for Global E&C is essential to ensure we have the right people with the right mindset to support our continuing growth and reinforce our position as the challenger EPC company in the UK North Sea.

Paul Rushton
Paul is responsible for all energy transition-related activities in Global E&C, a rapidly growing part of our business as the oil and gas sector focuses on decarbonising its operations onshore and offshore.
As a respected voice in the industry and Fellow of Dragonchain, the hybrid blockchain solutions and services provider, Paul is a serial entrepreneur, having founded many businesses including commissioning and start-up company Magma Products, which was acquired by Global E&C in 2020.
Paul's focus is on helping our customers reduce flaring and greenhouse gas emissions from mature assets by optimising or replacing equipment and assessing their viability for electrification, where platforms are powered with electricity from green energy sources, such as wind farms located onshore or offshore.

Lee Brandie
You could argue that game changing strategies are born from creative thinking.
As our head of Strategy and Business Development, there’s no doubting that Lee’s background in the creative arena plays a powerful element in his skillset within his role at Global E&C.
Beginning his entrepreneurial journey from school age, Lee Brandie has spent his career launching ventures, evolving businesses and bringing corporations together.
With that experience and insight, Lee understands the possibilities and the efforts required to achieve them.
As a senior leader of the Global E&C business, Lee plays a pivotal role in ensuring our organisation challenges the norm to achieve better outcomes for our people and the industry we support.

Craig Runcie
As Head of Business Services, Craig leads our Commercial, Supply Chain and Project Controls teams.
Having spent over 15 years in the oil and gas sector, he has responsibility for the development of our strategy, systems, and processes in these areas, leveraging from experience spanning multiple geographies and end markets in his career to date.
As a highly motivated and driven individual, Craig’s focus on commercial awareness, digitalisation, human systems and corporate governance support Global E&C’s strategy of being a sustainable, agile and digitally led EPC contractor.
Prior to joining Global E&C, he spent over a decade with our parent company, Global Energy Group in several operational and corporate roles. supporting the business through a period of exceptional growth as a best-in-class energy services provider.

Graeme Gray
Graeme has over 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry. He spent over a decade with the wider Global Energy Group before taking on his current role as Operations Director for Global E&C’s fabrication arm, which is primarily focused on supporting the brownfield modifications market.
He has extensive experience in both the design and manufacture of process equipment, structures and pipework that is utilised in subsea and topside production facilities.
Graeme leads a team of over 100 people across Global E&C’s fabrication facilities in Aberdeen, and throughout the wider Global Energy Group across Scotland.

Martin Skinner
Leading our engineering and survey offering, Martin has over 20 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry with operators and service companies including Maersk, Chevron and Petrofac.
During his time at Petrofac he held the role of Head of Piping & Mechanical, managing these disciplines across a number of locations. He later moved into Engineering & Project Management where he was responsible for multi-disciplined teams working across various North Sea contracts.
At Global E&C, Martin leads a team of more than 150 engineers and surveyors.

Sandy Clark
Sandy joined Global E&C as a non-executive director (NED) in 2020, bringing with him over 40 years’ experience in the energy industry and a proven track record of helping companies achieve their full potential.
A strategic thinker, he has considerable experience in creating realistic and achievable business plans, with a focus on corporate governance and business development. He has significant experience of working with investors to facilitate mergers and acquisitions, and an extensive network of industry contacts.
Sandy is a strong advocate of corporate social responsibility and supports a number of charities in the north east of Scotland. He currently sits on the board of the Russell Anderson Foundation (RAF), which works to improve the quality of life and life chances of young people in socially deprived areas of Aberdeen.
He has held a number of non-executive director roles in energy-related businesses and is currently also a NED of Prosource IT, a managed IT services provider to large organisations and corporate enterprises.

Mark Downie
Mark is a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Manager with over 30 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
Having held a number of discipline and functional management roles within both Tier 1 and Tier 2 companies, Mark brings a wealth of knowledge that is aligned with Global E&C’s Brownfield EPC vision.
As Brownfield Delivery Director, Mark oversees our Brownfield project portfolio where Global E&C is delivering fully integrated services to support the end-to-end lifecycle of EPC scopes.

Baptiste Gougeon
Baptiste is a senior member of the Global E&C business and plays a significant role in the delivery of its operations in the engineering, procurement and construction space.
A Chartered Mechanical Engineer, Baptiste has over 14 years
working within the energy industry across engineering, projects and operational
roles for both operators and service providers.
Since joining Global E&C in 2020, Baptiste began as
contract manager and has more recently been involved with leading the company’s
Operational Discipline strategy and delivering in line with its growth
aspirations and organisational evolution.

Mark Kilpatrick
As a business that provides one of the largest offshore construction teams working in the UK North Sea, Mark has overall accountability for the safe and efficient execution of this delivery.
As an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager, with over 30 year’s project, construction and engineering experience, Mark brings a wealth of skills and enthusiasm needed to work in our challenging environments.
Mark leads a team of highly experienced and competent onshore and offshore construction personnel who are managing and supporting site execution teams to ensure that all work is carried out safely, within budget and within schedule. In his role, Mark also supports the overall delivery of Global E&C’s business objectives through the aligning of deliverables to that of the individual Business Unit strategy.

Jill Sinclair
Jill has over 25 years in the oil and gas industry, working with Tier 1 and Tier2 contracting companies in various HSE roles. Jill is a highly motivated HSE Manger and brings a breadth of experience and knowledge from an HSE perspective. She has vast experience for the lifecycle of project from FEED through to decommissioning.
Jill is also a focal point of the Step Change in safety Alerts and Moments Working Group which is focused on ensuring learnings are communicated and shared with the industry in an effective manner
Ryan Milne
Ryan provides support and leadership to the team at Aiken in his capacity as Operations and Projects Director. As part of the Global E&C portfolio of acquisitions, Aiken was integrated to the business in early 2020 and provides a range of specialist services to support energy sectors around the globe.
Ryan brings a wealth of knowledge, significant breadth of experience and a high degree of professionalism to the business having worked for more than 25 years in energy & defence sectors.
From early beginnings as a technical apprentice to his current leadership role in a market leading energy industry service provider, Ryan has followed a structured path which has allowed him to develop exceptional depth to his abilities as he progressed through roles in engineering, construction, project management and latterly business management.
